The effects of global warming on our climate today feature daily in the weather reports. Environmental catastrophes are evident all over the world. Reports of massive floods, parched soils, dried-out river beds, advancing desertification, snow-free mountain regions, receding glaciers and people suffering from illnesses are delivered into our cosy homes on a daily basis via the TV.

However, the effects of climate change all over the world are expected to become even more severe in the coming decades. Along with a world-wide increase in temperature there will be a massive water shortage.

The Victims: our Children

The consequences of climate change will affect the world’s population, particularly future generations. Even today, the pictures of dying, starving and sick children are unbearable. What will the projected misery be like in fifty years?
