Reports of massive floods, parched soils, dried-out river beds, advancing desertification, snow-free mountain regions, receding glaciers and people suffering from illnesses are delivered into our cosy homes on a daily basis via the TV.
However, the effects of climate change all over the world are expected to become even more severe in the coming decades. Along with a world-wide increase in temperature there will be a massive water shortage.
